Thai Burger




INGREDIENTS
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup green onions, thinly chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce
  • 4 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons Kroger® Hoisin Sauce
  • 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
  • 4 whole wheat burger buns, toasted
  • 1/2 cup red cabbage, thinly sliced

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the ground beef, green onions, ground ginger and Sriracha sauce. Form into 4 patties.
  2. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Place patties in skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side. Cook until an internal temperature of 160°F.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the peanut butter, hoisin sauce and sesame oil.
  4. Place each burger on a bun and spread on peanut butter sauce. Top with cabbage.
  5. Serve and refrigerate leftovers.
